Duties
- Develop and execute comprehensive IT strategies that support organizational goals while ensuring compliance with industry standards such as NIST and PCI.
- Oversee the design, deployment, and management of enterprise-wide networks, including LAN, WAN, VPNs, MPLS, and cloud environments like AWS and Azure.
- Lead the administration of critical systems including Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, SQL Server, Oracle databases, and virtualization platforms such as vSphere and Hyper-V.
- Manage IT projects utilizing Agile methodologies to deliver innovative solutions efficiently—covering application development with frameworks like React, Angular, , .NET, PHP, and Python.
- Ensure information security through robust network security measures—including firewalls, DNS management, disaster recovery planning, business continuity strategies, and vendor management.
- Drive system administration excellence across server management, SAN storage solutions, Linux/Unix environments, and cloud computing platforms to optimize performance and reliability.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning by promoting DevOps practices, change management processes, and analysis skills to enhance system design and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Requirements
- Proven experience in leading large-scale IT operations with a focus on infrastructure management and system design.
- Extensive knowledge of network security protocols, computer networking concepts including MPLS and VPNs, and IT governance frameworks.
- Strong expertise in database management systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB; along with proficiency in ETL processes and data warehouses.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS & Azure), virtualization technologies (vSphere), and containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with programming languages including JavaScript (React/Angular), C#, Java, PHP, Python; along with API integration skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams using Agile project management practices while managing budgets effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills to collaborate with senior leadership and translate complex technical concepts into clear strategies.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, PMP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent are highly desirable.
