As our portfolio continues to grow, we are seeking a motivated, collaborative, and results-oriented Portfolio Manager to join our team.
Position Summary
The Portfolio Manager will oversee a portfolio of manufactured housing communities located throughout the country. This role is responsible for driving property performance by managing on-site management teams, monitoring financial performance, managing capital improvement projects, and ensuring each community operates efficiently and profitably.
This is a full-time, in-person position based in Richmond, VA, with occasional travel to visit communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day performance of a portfolio of manufactured housing communities.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to on-site property managers and staff.
- Monitor and control operating expenses while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase occupancy, revenue, and overall property performance.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and monthly operating results.
- Review and understand property profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Oversee capital improvement (CAPEX) projects from planning through completion.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and service providers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Assist with the onboarding and operational integration of newly acquired communities.
- Collaborate closely with the executive team and other departments to improve portfolio performance and execute company initiatives.
Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
