CLIENT: Insurance Agency
LOCATION: Pearland, TX
TYPE: Direct-hire | On-site, Monday through Friday (No Remote or Hybrid)
SALARY: $40,000 commission
SUMMARY:
Our client, a leading insurance agency, is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Insurance Salesperson to join their growing agency. This is an excellent opportunity for a sales professional who thrives on building relationships and closing business in a supportive, team-oriented environment who will help their clients protect their homes, cars and personal assets by providing tailored insurance solutions that fit their needs and budgets.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Contact and follow up with pre-qualified leads provided by the agency to discuss insurance needs.
- Conduct detailed needs assessments to recommend appropriate coverage options (auto, home, renters, umbrella, etc.).
- Present insurance quotes clearly and effectively, addressing client questions and concerns.
- Manage the sales process – from initial contact to policy insurance.
- Provide excellent service to build trust and encourage policy renewals and referrals.
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales and conversion goals.
- Maintain accurate client and policy records in the agency management system.
- Stay current on carrier products, underwriting guidelines, and state insurance regulations.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent required: college degree preferred
- 3 years of experience in insurance sales, customer service.
- Active Property & Casualty License REQUIRED or the ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
- Proven experience in insurance sales, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals – high octane, high charging, sales experience.
- Goal-oriented and motivated by performance-based rewards.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.
- Strong negotiation skills with a focus on achieving win-win outcomes for both the company and clients.
