We are currently seeking an experienced Millwright to support conveyor system operations at Tampa Airport. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on conveyor belt systems for baggage handling and related mechanical equipment in a fast-paced airport environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs on conveyor belt systems and associated mechanical equipment
- Troubleshoot motors, bearings, gearboxes, pulleys, chains, rollers, and mechanical components
- Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and identify potential issues before failures occur
- Diagnose mechanical malfunctions and complete repairs efficiently to minimize downtime
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and maintenance manuals
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and airport operational standards
- Collaborate with maintenance teams and operations personnel to maintain system reliability
