Assembly Solder Technician - 1st Shift M-F (Tustin)

Under minimum supervision, the Assembly Solder Technicians shall perform various production assembly operations, including connector assembly, termination of electrical contacts, insert/over-molding, labeling, packaging, in-process testing, and operation of basic hand tools.

Training will be provided. Experience with preparation, stripping, tinning, crimping, and soldering of medical cables; encapsulation/epoxy operations; ultrasonic welding machines; and other various encapsulation tasks is preferred.

IPC-610, IPC-620, and J-STD certifications are preferred.

Injection Mold Operator Experience Is Preferred.

Requirements:

• Punctual and energetic, positive attitude
• Reliable and able to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Good analytical skills with the ability to identify potential problems
• Basic measurement skills using tools and equipment such as rulers, scales, micrometers, calipers, etc.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

Education:

• Required: Minimum High School diploma or GED.
• Preferred: Two-year degree (Associate or technical certification) in electronics/advanced mechanics or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience in medical devices within a QSR/FDA-regulated environment.
• 1st shift position - 5:20 am to 1:50 pm, M-F
• 40hrs/week Overtime (1.5x pay) as needed
