Job Overview
Clearpath Group Inc is an independent contractor for FedEx Ground. We are looking for a motivated Delivery Driver (full-time, part-time, or seasonal positions) with at least 1 year of driving experience to join our team. The individual must have a strong work ethic and continuous drive to succeed.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial driving vehicles.
- Follow designated routes to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with clients during deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and any issues encountered on the route.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
- Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including moving inventory and organizing stock.
Skills
In your role as a FedEx driver, you would report to the FedEx Ground Terminal in Tracy, CA where you will load your truck, deliver, and pick up packages before returning the truck to the terminal at day's end.
IN ORDER TO QUALIFY FOR THE DRIVER POSITION, YOU MUST HAVE ALL OF THE FOLLOWING:
1) VERIFIABLE driving experience ( Mandatory 1 year of verifiable
driving experience within the last 3 years, not necessary to be
driving every day as long as some driving was part of the job)
2) A valid regular driver's license (Class C)
3) Legal status to work in the USA
4) Clean driving record (no DUIs )
5) Clean criminal record (no major misdemeanors or felonies in past 10 years)
6) Able to pass a physical and drug test
7) Must have conversational English
8) Capability to handle physical tasks associated with moving goods, including packages up to 150 lbs.
9) Must be punctual, energetic, reliable, and honest
10) Must be at least 21 years of age
