Clearlight Energy, one of North America’s leading private renewable energy companies, operates more than 5,600 MW across 52 assets consisting of utility scale solar, wind, battery storage and renewable natural gas in North America. Approximately 5,100 MW of its operations are located in the U.S., across NYISO, MISO, PJM, ERCOT and CAISO markets, with the remaining 300 MW located in Canada. This role can be based in Houston, Texas or Oakville, Ontario. The Company follows a hybrid work model, with employees in the office from Tuesday through Thursday.

Job Responsibilities:
Contract & Payment Administration
- Administer landowner contracts and process recurring payments using Pandell LandWorks and Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
- Conduct periodic audits of payments and contract terms to ensure alignment with lease agreements and internal controls.
- Receive, investigate, and respond to landowner payment inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare and distribute landowner correspondence, including notices, payment details, and newsletters.
Data Management & Reporting
- Maintain accurate land data in LandWorks, including entering new project contracts and tracking critical dates and obligations.
- Develop and maintain recurring reports and dashboards covering payment status, critical dates, and obligation tracking.
- Perform data governance activities, including standardizing fields and resolving data discrepancies.
- Support Accounts Payable by coordinating landowner tax documentation and processing invoices in D365.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Real Estate, Operations, Legal, and Accounting on land-related workflows, including property transfers, ownership updates, and consent/notice requirements.
- Support title, survey, and easement/right-of-way documentation requests by compiling records and coordinating with internal teams and third-party vendors.
- Assist with land mapping and parcel-level documentation in coordination with land agents and internal partners.
- Identify and implement process improvements in land administration workflows, templates, and quality checks.
Qualifications:
- College diploma or equivalent post-secondary credential.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and data validation.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365), including invoice processing and basic financial transactions.
- Experience with land management systems (e.g., Pandell LandWorks) and/or GIS mapping tools is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail, sound judgment with confidential information, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Clear, professional communication skills with both internal teams and external stakeholders, including landowners.
- Availability to travel within Canada and the United States, as required.
