Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with fueling their vehicles and any inquiries they may have.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for processing transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the gas station, including the convenience store area.
- Stock shelves with merchandise, ensuring products are displayed attractively to encourage sales.
- Receive, inspect, and verify tobacco and liquor deliveries against invoices.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring proper stock rotation (FIFO – first in, first out).
- Secure all tobacco and liquor products in designated locked storage areas per legal requirements.
- Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling procedures.
- Report discrepancies, damages, or potential theft immediately to the Store Manager.
- Strictly follow all laws regarding the sale, display, and advertising of tobacco and alcoholic beverages.
Skills
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members.
- Experience in retail sales or gas station environments is highly desirable.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to perform basic cashiering duties while maintaining accuracy in all transactions.
