Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong ability to engage with children and adults alike in a fun and safe swimming environment. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching swimming techniques, ensuring safety in and around the water, and fostering a positive learning atmosphere.
Duties
- Conduct swimming lessons for individuals or groups of varying skill levels, from beginners to advanced swimmers.
- Develop lesson plans that cater to the specific needs of each student while promoting skill progression.
- Implement effective behavior management strategies to maintain a focused and respectful learning environment.
- Monitor students' progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their swimming abilities.
- Ensure the safety of all participants by enforcing pool rules and guidelines.
- Provide first aid or emergency assistance as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience as a swim instructor or in a related role is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- A background in health clubs or fitness environments is beneficial.
- Must possess strong communication skills and the ability to motivate students of all ages.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is highly desirable.
