Overview:
In this role, you’ll oversee bi-weekly payroll processing, lead and develop a Payroll Associate,
collaborate with Human Resources and Finance, manage our UKG timekeeping system, and
ensure payroll practices remain accurate, efficient, and compliant. If you’re a detail-oriented

Responsibilities:
● Oversee and assist with the process of payroll bi-weekly for 4 associated companies.
● Ensure managers are trained and can effectively communicate payroll policies with
associates
● Optimize workflow by advancing use of existing technology and continuous improvement
strategies
● Ensure compliance with government and regulatory agencies
● Enforce internal Payroll and HR policies
● Lead, equip and develop direct reports to achieve inspirational results
● Review accuracy of wages, taxes, benefits, and deductions, etc.
● Collaborate with Human Resources on payroll related projects, deductions, benefits, etc
● Manage and maintain the timekeeping system (UKG Workforce Ready)
● Manage payroll projects and related continuous improvement effort
● Review quarterly payroll taxes
● Process annual W-2s
● Maintain payroll processes and procedures and adhere to and enforce all policies
● Comply with federal, state, and local legislation and requirements and stay abreast of
changes
● Facilitate audits and report on findings
● Identify learning and development opportunities and resources for Payroll group
● Always maintain a high level of employee confidence and confidentiality
Requirements:
● Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Accounting or
related field
● CCP or FCP certification Nice to have
● Proficiency in UKG Pro/Workforce Ready (will consider other software if right
experience)
● 5 years’ experience processing payroll
● 2 years’ experience managing payroll related projects and lean initiatives
● Proficiency in payroll management systems (preferably UKG) and MS Office
● Exceptional attention to detail and confidentiality
Pay: $75,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
