What are the responsibilities and job description for the 3rd Shift - Secondary Technician position at Clearfield Metal Technologies?

3rd Shift

Sunday - Thursday

11pm - 7am

$0.50 Off Shift Differential


Job Purpose:

To operate secondary machining equipment per work instructions and control plans provided per job

 

Duties:

  • Operate secondary machinery equipment to the level of operator, and
  • Operate secondary machining equipment including but not limited to:

 

    • Fix geometry offsets, collets, and work holding
    • Reset positions on loader arms on Muratas
    • Diagnose but not fix collet problems (loose/tight), flatness on worn jaws, etc.
    • Tear out machine work holding
    • Train operators
    • Basic print reading
