Experienced Dental Assistant

Dental Assistant – Part Time

Responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of exceptional dental care through 4-handed dentistry.
• Assist patients with scheduling, billing, payments, and post-treatment instructions.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and maintain a clean clinical environment.
• Manage supply inventory and place orders as needed.
• Perform clinical tasks such as:
• Making temporary crowns
• Placing retraction cords and matrix bands
• Taking traditional impressions (Alginate and Polyvinyl)
• Scanning intraorally using a Medit or 3Shape Scanner
• 3D Resin printing models and nightguards
• Creating bleach trays and mouth guards
• Performing coronal polishing
• Take dental X-rays and CTs (UT State Radiation Certification required—if you don't have one yet, we’ll help you get it).
• Assist with the administration of Nitrous Oxide under dentist supervision (note: our office uses nitrous—please be aware if pregnant).

Qualifications:

• Experience OR Training Certificate is required.
• Must be eager to learn, a good listener, and have a great attitude.
• Dental assisting students from OTech or Davis Tech College are highly encouraged to apply.
• CPR and Radiation Certificates will be required if you do not already possess them.

Schedule:

• Part-time:
• Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• We have 3 total locations that could turn this position into full time if you would like. We even have 1-2 days only if desired.

Pay: $12.00 – $25.00 per hour (based on experience)
