Direct Installation HVAC Technician

Job Requirements

• High school or GED w/relevant industry technical certification/training preferred
• EPA Type Universal (required)
• Experience as an HVAC technician with commercial units
• Comfortable with heights, bending, kneeling, standing, and walking for periods of time.
• People skills for engaging customers and various personnel at job sites.
• Comfortable working with smart devices for accessing and inputting data related to the job tasks.
  
  

Job Responsibilities

• Act as local on-site program and company representative to customers
• Conduct energy efficiency HVAC maintenance tune-ups
• Conduct data gathering activities throughout a defined territory
• Provide technical advice, guidance and training on installation, adaptation, configuration or enhancement in accordance with client specifications.
• Travel a defined territory (out of state up to 25% of the time)
• Train field staff and develop training materials and guidelines on installation, adaptation, configuration, or enhancement in accordance with client specifications.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews and audits of commercial energy efficiency upgrades that involve further complexity and analysis
• Provide input and status updates to program staff regarding project scope, planning and effectiveness of products
• Provide technical expertise to identify, analyze and resolve issues.

$55,700.00 - $83,500.00

Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD/technology), for example.
