As an experienced Cloud System Administrator you will support the deployment, configuration and administration of cloud and distributed systems. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented engineer who thrives in dynamic, high-security environments and has hands-on experience managing modern cloud infrastructures.
This position is 100% onsite in Maryland and requires an active TS/SCI FSP Security Clearance.

- Active TS/SCI FSP Clearance
- One (1) to Three (3) years of relevant experience is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics is highly desired and may be substituted for two (2) years of experience.
- Must have a Hadoop/Cloud System Administrator Certification or comparable Cloud System/Service Certification that is DoD 8570 compliant, such as:
- AWS Certified Developer - Associate
- AWS DevOps Engineer - Professional
- Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
- Elastic Certified Engineer
- Advanced knowledge of SSH tunneling, dynamic SOCKS proxies and SSH-based utilities such as rsync, pdsh, pdcp and WinSCP.
- Basic understanding of networking fundamentals, including VLANs, port channel bonding and Layer 2/Layer 3 switch interactions.
- Familiarity with software load balancers (e.g., HAProxy, Nginx) for large-scale web services.
- Experience with Kubernetes orchestration and Docker containerization.
- Proficiency in log aggregation and monitoring tools including Elasticsearch, Logstash, Filebeat, Grafana and rsyslog.
