Position title: Senior Client Service Specialist
Position Description:
Step into an instrumental role. Help conduct the smooth operation of a fast-paced—and friendly—financial planning office. Work as an employee of ClearCourse Wealth Advisors, a private wealth advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial Services® LLC.
The perfect candidate for this position will have previous work experience in the financial industry and /or a basic knowledge of investment, insurance, and annuity products. The Client Service Manager supports the many different tasks for which the advisors are responsible, allowing the advisors to focus more time and energy on client acquisition and deepening client relationships. The Client Service Manager also leads, trains and provides coaching to the other Client Service personnel in the practice. The Client Service Manager allows the advisors the assurance that the practice is being maintained and supported within Ameriprise Financial guidelines.
This role develops and maintains best-in-class processes for the practice. This role also provides administrative support by scheduling meetings, preparing client communications and tracking new business correspondence. This role is responsible for responding to ad hoc requests, coordinating/tracking projects and/or managing business-as-usual projects such as scanning, copying, and/or organizing the logistics of a client event. Responsibilities and time allocation will change over time to meet the needs of the practice and can include other duties as assigned by the team.
Position Information:
· Payrate: $75,000 - $110,000 commensurate with experience
· Benefits: Paid sick, vacation, holidays after 90 days and 401k eligibility after one-year of service
Position Functions:
Administrative assistance 50%
· Prepare correspondence for advisor signature
· Copy and track all client and practice materials including business correspondence
· Copy and follow-up with home office on related issues
· Schedule client appointments and prepare agendas/ forms for appointments
· Conduct client appointment reminder calls and check-in calls on follow up items
· Assist the planning assistant, paraplanner, associate financial advisors and advisors
· Perform other allowable duties as assigned by the financial advisors
Client care 20%
· Greet clients upon arrival and extend hospitality to clients
· Set up and maintain client management system
· Write email or letters to clients and administer client appreciation
· Answering and documenting client contacts/calls
· Track client special events and make appropriate contact per established client contact model
Team Leadership / People Management 30%
· Develop and maintain best-in-class processes for client servicing across the practice
· Provide leadership and coaching to the rest of the Client Service team
· Teach and train the team on systems and processes

Education and Other Designations:
· College degree or equivalent work experience
· 5 years of experience in similar roles preferred
· Preference given to candidates with an Ohio Insurance License and/or FINRA Series 6 or Series 7
Salary : $75,000 - $110,000
