Respite Coordinator
Location: Arlington Heights, IL (Occasional Travel to Rolling Meadows & Crystal Lake)
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm (Occasional Saturdays)
Clearbrook is seeking a professional to oversee our short-term relief (respite) grants, which include community voucher, group, and in-home care programs. You will also step in to manage daily operations when the Director is unavailable.
Key Responsibilities

Program Management: Design engaging activities for group sessions, ensure programs meet all grant quality standards, and maintain strong communication with families and care providers.

Site Administration: Enforce safety protocols, update facility guidelines, manage program finances alongside the Director, and be available by phone to support staff during group sessions.

Personnel Supervision: Interview, hire, train, and evaluate staff using supportive, person-centered coaching techniques.

Compliance: Strictly follow state regulations for human and family services, agency staff policies, and client privacy rules.
Qualifications

A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or a related field.

At least 2 years of related experience and 2 years of management or supervisory experience.

Must meet minimum requirements for state credentials for developmental disability professionals (QIDP) and complete additional direct support training (DSP) within 120 days.
