Sr Network Engineer

Our client, a professional services & consulting partner located in New York, NY, is looking to hire a Senior Network Engineer for 3-to-6-month hybrid contract. The consultant will be primarily providing resident network engineering support for routing, switching, firewalls and any other project work that they may be tasked with.

Required Skills:

• Routing: Expert-level proficiency in BGP and OSPF
• Switching: Expert-level proficiency with Cisco ACI, Nexus, and Cisco IOS platforms
• Firewalls: Intermediate to advanced experience with Palo Alto firewalls
• Project Execution: Ability to independently run and deliver projects and tasks
• Must have worked in financial services previously

Desired Skills

• SD-WAN: Intermediate to advanced experience with Prisma SD-WAN.
• Wireless: Intermediate to advanced experience with Meraki Wireless solutions.
• Data Center: Experience designing and operating data center architectures.
• Azure Networking: Strong hands-on experience with Azure network deployments and operations.
• Cisco ISE: Familiarity with user authentication, authorization, and identity management technologies.
• Tooling: Experience with network monitoring platforms and self-healing network tools.

The expected hourly rate range for this role is: $58.50 - $94.25 per hour
