Sales Support Engineer

Our client, a large telecom company is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer for a 12 month contract opportunity. This individual will be working remotely to assist with technical questions, solution design, quotes, proposals, and RFP responses while working closely with internal teams and business partners. Candidates with previous Avaya experience, either as an employee, engineer, or business partner, are highly preferred.

Required Skills

• 1–3 years of experience in technical sales, pre-sales, systems engineering, or a related role.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts
• Experience supporting quotes, proposals, or customer solutions in the telecom space
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  
  

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience with Avaya products and solutions.
• Former Avaya employee, engineer, or business partner experience.
• Background in Unified Communications, Contact Center, or networking technologies.
• Experience responding to RFPs or creating technical documentation.
