Our client, a leading telecommunications company in Stamford, CT, is seeking a Project Manager to support large-scale business merger on an initial 6 month contract with high likelihood of extension to 18 months. This individual will work 4 days onsite, one day remote, and will help manage and deploy technical and operational programs supporting Day 0 requirements, major launch-readiness milestones, and ongoing post-conversion initiatives.
The Project Manager will manage the full project lifecycle from definition through implementation, developing project plans, driving milestones, managing dependencies, and ensuring initiatives remain aligned with scope, cost, schedule, and quality expectations. Responsibilities include leading project meetings and ad hoc working sessions, providing day-to-day direction to project resources, coordinating change-management activities, and maintaining Jira updates, meeting minutes, status reports, budgets, action items, and decision tracking. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing hands-on project execution with extensive documentation, reporting, stakeholder follow-up, and administrative coordination.

The expected hourly rate range for this role is $42.30 to $61.10 per hour.

Required Skills
- 5-10 years of Project Management experience
- Experience managing full project lifecycles from definition through implementation
- Strong experience developing project plans, driving milestones, and managing scope, schedule, cost, and quality
- Experience leading project meetings and coordinating cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or other software development lifecycle methodologies
- Hands-on experience with Jira or similar project tracking tools
- Strong documentation, meeting-minutes, status-reporting, budget-tracking, and action-item management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Visio, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience supporting large-scale integration, conversion, or operational transformation programs
- Telecommunications industry experience
- Experience with billing technologies such as ICOMS, Amdocs, or CSG
- Business Analysis, Product Ownership, or PMO governance experience
- Experience supporting Day 0, launch-readiness, cutover, or post-implementation activities
