Job Description BAE Systems is seeking a System Security Engineering Lead to support our work as a prime contractor on a high-profile U.S. Navy weapon system. The candidate for Systems Security Engineering Lead should be a self-starter with a keen eye for detail as it relates to technical execution. The candidate should have a demonstrated competency in the evaluation of Systems Engineering Technical Readiness Review (SETRR) for Research Development Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) programs. To be successful, the candidate must understand the importance of implementing Systems Security Engineering (SSE) early in the design phase of the engineering lifecycle. Early risk identification and mitigation is a key tenant in the proper integration of SSE into a Weapons System. The candidate should have an overarching understanding of the various disciplines and domains within SSP's implementation of SSE. The candidate should possess a strong skillset in creating ontologies and profiles in the Digital Engineering instances for SSE.
This position is responsible for assisting the government and its prime contractors in establishing SSE requirements throughout their design processes. Being a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the integration of SSE principles throughout the engineering lifecycle. Demonstrating experience in documenting rationale as it relates to SSE principles in multiple program's Security Classification Guides (SCGs). The successful candidate should have a track record of creating policy and procedural documentation related to SSE content and DoD guidance, instructions and mandates. Full-Time Salary Range: $146670 - $249330 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
