Become a part of something IMPACT-ful! Ground Missile Defense (GMD) is the heart of the Missile Defense System and a key element of our nation's defense against ballistic missile attacks. The GMD Weapon System (GWS) processes data from multiple sensors to identify and characterize the inbound ballistic missile threat, plans the best defensive solution, and launches the intercepting missiles to negate the threat. The Work The selected engineer will support a fast-pace, forward looking Software Development environment on the Architecture and Delivery (A&D) product team's Automated Test and Verification team, with tasking directed at Continuous Integration and Continuous Deliver (CI/CD). These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off

Basic Qualifications
- Must have at least 6 months of recent experience working in the GWS A&D product
- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM related discipline from an accredited university with minimum of 5 years' software development experience; or 3 years' software development experience and a Masters in STEM degree.
- Experience with Python
- Must be able to support in office development
- Active U.S. DoD security clearance at the SECRET level
- Experience with Eggplant
- Experience with understanding and verifying requirements
- Experience with build and development tools and/or continuous integration environments (i.e., GIT, Jenkins)
- Experience with containerization methodology and tools (Docker/Kubernetes)
