MANTECH seeks a motivated, mission-focused Software Test Engineer to join our team in Hanover, MD. As part of a dynamic team, you will support software development initiatives for a mission-critical organization within the Intelligence Community, focused on secure and reliable data dissemination. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Analyze source code using automated Software Assurance (SwA) tools and collaborate with team members on assessment results.
- Develop and execute test methodologies, scoring criteria, and test cases to support SwA tool analysis.
- Perform software testing and interface with clients to recommend effective remediation strategies.
- Create technical documentation and comprehensive test reports.
- Utilize, fine-tune, and evaluate the suitability of SwA tools for specific customer environments.
- Interpret SwA tool results to detect vulnerabilities and drive secure coding practices.
- Research and assess emerging SwA tools and methodologies to enhance software security analysis. Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science or electrical engineering with 12 years of experience OR 8 years of experience with a Master's Degree in software engineering, computer science or electrical engineering.
- 5 years of hands-on programming experience in Java, C/C , or C#. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with some or all of the following programming languages * ADA
