Software Engineer with Security Clearance

TITLE: Software Engineer Required: Active Secret Clearance RATE RANGE: $60.00/hr - $102.00/hr W2 Contract **depends on experience and benefits chosen** DURATION: 12-month W2 contract or contract to hire ONSITE LOCATION: Aurora, CO ***No C2C, we can NOT work with outside agencies/vendors, and we can NOT do 1099-US SECRET CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED*** Geologics is hiring skilled Software Engineers in Aurora, CO to develop Satellite Ground Stations Software in Java, C , and Python. REQUIREMENTS * Active Secret Clearance * A bachelor's degree in science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 4 -8 years of relevant software engineering experience.

• Experience with Java, C or Python software development in a Linux environment.
  
  

DESIRED SKILLS: * Experience working with the Atlassian Tool suite. * Experience developing software in an Agile and/or DevOps environments. * Previous work satellite GPS software desirable. * Experience troubleshooting or debugging software. * Experience with unit and automated functional test concepts.

• Experience with some area of satellite ground system software such as mission management, planning and scheduling, command and telemetry, satellite operations, or flight dynamics models RESPONSIBILITIES * Develop and maintain Java, C , and Python based applications for satellite ground systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement robust server-side solutions.
• Modify and improve existing codebases for enhanced performance and scalability.
• Conduct software design and code reviews, integrating best practices and innovations.
• Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, ensuring adherence to Agile principles.
• Participate in system integration and project milestone completion under guidance from supervisors.
• Keep abreast of advancements in Java and related technologies to drive continuous innovation.
