What you will be doing: The Senior Systems Engineer will be responsible for gathering, defining, decomposing, and documenting functional system requirements needed for the development of new workflows/business processes on an existing software platform. Experience leading a small functional team of software engineers within a larger project team is desired but not required. What you need:
- Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional developer experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
- Proven experience in gathering and authoring functional system requirements and technical documentation
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to capture evolving needs and features, ensuring alignment with project goals
- Familiarity with workflow/business process engineering
- Experience documenting interfaces between new and legacy systems
- Ability to rapidly comprehend and articulate intricate technical details to various audiences
- Ability to work autonomously towards long-range objectives under consultative direction
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies
- Experience utilizing collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Experience leading a small functional team of software engineers within a larger project team is desired but not required. Clearance : Active TS/SCI with an appropriate polygraph is required to be considered for this role. Salary range: $101,996.00 - $195,500.00 (Annually)* Req ID-PRX 25-948
