Description
- Ensures the operational functionality of system releases by focusing on all aspects of system design and engineering/integration
- Works with NIWC stakeholders, development and support teams to develop and integrate secure capabilities
- Installs and configures network wired and wireless computer network devices
- Performs configuration and troubleshooting of network data flows to ensure mission data reaches appropriate national level repositories quickly and efficiently
- Designs, configures, and integrates mission applications in/with Active Directory
- Operates in Windows and Linux operating environments [] FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING Requirements
- Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance
- Must possess a COMPTIA Security certification
- Must possess a System Administrator certification in Windows or Linux
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering or Business
- 10 years of experience with systems analysis, design, installation and configuration of wired and wireless computer network devices (routers, switches and firewalls).
- 3 years of experience with dataflow configuration and tools such as NiagraFiles (NiFi)
- 3 years of experience with Windows Active Directory, Windows Operating System (OS), Linux OS, Virtual Machine tools (VMWare)
- 1 year of experience with hardware and software configuration management
