With a shared desire to give back, grow the community, and do great work, the Set of X team is building an elite group of engineers with a strong sense of shared responsibility and ownership Because who you work with matters. ________________________________________________________________________ You will provide Network support that requires system level design, architecture or enterprise security and security boundaries, datacenter virtualization, CAN/MAN/LAN infrastructure packet capture software, TCP/IP protocol stack, routing/switching protocols, stateful firewalls, and L3/L4 access controls. Responsibilities:
- Cisco IOS, CatOS, NxOS, filter and access control, Ciscoworks, TACACS , ASA, FWSM, HP Openview, Cisco routers, Cisco Switches, F5/Cisco load balancers, Infiniband, Juniper, FiberChannel (FC) SAN, and VPN (IPSEC)
- Physical installation and configuration and troubleshooting of network routers, switches, load balancers and security devices.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocol stack and routing and switching protocols.
- Strong working knowledge of L2/L3 protocols.
- Strong working knowledge of stateful firewalls, and L3 access controls.
- Working knowledge of Atlassian Tool Suite.
- Able to support on-call requirements.
- Able to work in live call environment and utilize remedy and/or other ticketing system to track tasking.
- Virtualization products; VMWare and Solaris containers. Education/Experience: Level 1
- 3 yrs., B.S. in a technical discipline or 2 additional yrs. in place of B.S. Level 2
- 5 yrs., B.S. in a technical discipline or 2 additional yrs. in place of B.S. Level 3
- 8 yrs., B.S. in a technical discipline or 2 additional yrs. in place of B.S. Clearance: TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
