As the HIVE Support Engineer, you will oversee the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and optimization of Analytics Platform HIVE-managed data environments, ensuring the smooth and reliable flow of data across analytics platforms. Leveraging your expertise in big data technologies, SQL, and workflow orchestration, you will coordinate a team responsible for monitoring batch jobs, resolving operational incidents, optimizing query performance, and implementing process improvements. You'll liaise with engineering and analytics teams to troubleshoot complex issues, ensure data integrity, and drive continuous enhancements so that HIVE data assets consistently meet business and compliance requirements. SKILLS: 3 YOE HiveQL, SQL HIVE performance optimization, including data partitioning, indexing Data modeling, schema design Build automated data pipelines Build operational workflows using Python, Shell scripting, or similar languages Hands-on understanding of Hadoop ecosystem, including HDFS, YARN, MapReduce, Spark Position Details:
- Pay Rate / Range:__$65-$70/hr The above salary range represents the range expected for the position; however, final salary offers are based on a number of factors such as the position's responsibilities; the candidate's experience, education, and skills; location; travel required; and current market conditions.
