Battlespace Awareness & Security Programs Staff Officer SME Premier Enterprise Solutions is seeking a Battlespace Awareness & Security Programs SME to support the Department of Defense for Intelligence and Security. This critical role delivers Battlespace Awareness expertise and direct counsel to senior level leadership to effectively support the DoD in the management of the BA Portfolio.:
- Review and evaluate existing and planned ISR and environmental systems, processes and programs across the DoD and IC to ensure the BA Portfolio is optimized to meet the operational warfighter, acquisition community and senior policy maker needs.
- Produce deliverables under that include the development of guidance for initial binning; data collection and management strategies; assessment of tools and repositories; creation of business rules and entry/exit criteria; and corporate review and evaluation criteria.
- Analyze, and evaluate, large data sets and develop data analytics and data visualization tools to view trends, identify anomalies, inform assertions and conclusions, and provide data-informed assessments, reporting, oversight, and decision making.
- Develop, update, and maintain general and specialized data-analytic dashboards to promote timely and effective capabilities-based decisions when an investment crosses or spans any of the following: BA capability portfolio management (CPM) and another DoD Mission Area, Multiple DoD component agencies, or BA CPM and the broader IC.
- Conduct research and analysis; draft formal positions; review and analyze documents; prepare briefs, talking papers, memoranda, and letters in the form of DoD staff packages, ensuring compliance with DoD policies. SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the DoD or IC working with battlespace awareness programs
- Minimum of 10 years of experience with the DoD and/or IC requirements process and defense acquisition management systems.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with the DoD PPBE process, policy development, program oversight / guidance, and capabilities development and resourcing on a military or interagency staff
- Must have experience in leading and providing technical guidance and direction involving multiple projects of high complexity.
- Must have experience in managing customer expectations and working directly with customers.
- Must have outstanding customer service abilities, initiative, judgement, creativity, flexibility, and confidence.
- Must have the ability to multi-task across multiple projects. EDUCATION
- A./B.S. from an accredited school CLEARANCE
