About the Role
We are partnering with a fast-scaling infrastructure organisation building next-generation hyperscale data centers that power advanced AI workloads.
This is a high-ownership, boots-on-the-ground leadership role responsible for delivering large-scale, mission-critical construction projects from groundbreaking through commissioning and final handover.
As a Data Center Superintendent, you will be the on-site execution lead—owning daily construction activities, coordinating subcontractors and trade partners, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
This role sits at the centre of complex, fast-paced builds where execution speed, precision, and accountability directly impact the delivery of AI compute infrastructure at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day on-site execution of large-scale data center construction projects from mobilization through commissioning and handover
- Coordinate and manage general contractors, subcontractors, and trade partners across civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical scopes
- Enforce strict safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA, NEC, and all applicable building codes
- Ensure subcontractor accountability for safety, quality, productivity, and schedule performance
- Drive continuous improvement in field execution, coordination, and construction efficiency
About You
- Strong background managing complex construction environments with multiple subcontractors and trade partners
- Proven experience working within fast-track, high-pressure project environments
- Ability to read and interpret complex structural, mechanical, and electrical construction drawings and specifications
- Strong communication skills with ability to report clearly to both site teams and senior stakeholders
- Hands-on leadership style with ability to drive execution in dynamic field environments
Nice to Have
- 5 years of hyperscale or data center construction experience (50MW / $100M projects preferred)
- Background with hyperscale environments or large infrastructure developers
- Degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Experience working in live or high-uptime environments
Additional Information
- Must be willing to travel 75% to active construction sites
