Community Engagement Specialist – Behavioral Health / Youth Services

About the Role
Clear Steps is seeking a motivated Community Engagement Specialist to grow awareness and increase referrals for our adolescent Substance Abuse Intensive Outpatient Program (SAIOP). This position focuses on building relationships with schools, probation officers, court service units, social service agencies, and community partners.

What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain referral relationships with schools, DJJ, probation, social services, and healthcare providers
- Conduct outreach visits, phone calls, emails, and presentations to promote Clear Steps programs
- Attend community events, resource fairs, and meetings to increase program visibility
- Track outreach efforts, referrals, and admissions activity
- Share program materials and respond promptly to partner inquiries
- Support Clear Steps’ mission by helping teens access high-quality substance use treatment
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in community outreach, marketing, sales, customer relations, or relationship management
- Strong communication and networking skills
- Comfortable visiting partner sites and speaking with professionals
- Organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred: Experience in behavioral health, youth programs, or human services
