We’re looking to fill Friday and Saturday evening line cook shifts, with the option for additional shifts or fill‑ins if you’re interested. Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Assist in menu planning by providing input on dish execution and ingredient needs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station, adhering to food safety and sanitation protocols at all times.
- Handle food with care, demonstrating excellent knife skills and proper food handling techniques to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Support catering events or special functions by preparing dishes in bulk while maintaining consistency and quality.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service delivery.
- Follow all food safety regulations and guidelines to uphold the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Demonstrated culinary experience with proficiency in food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly.
- Familiarity with dietary department procedures or dietary aide experience is a plus for understanding specialized meal requirements.
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of food handling safety are essential for this role.
- Experience with menu planning, catering, or serving in a high-volume setting will set you apart.
