Full-Time, Permanent | 100% Remote | Global Travel up to 25%
We are looking for a Community Growth Lead to help scale global community programs and platforms. This is a high-impact, hands-on role for a builder/operator who can combine strategic thinking with execution to drive creation, engagement, and sustained growth across diverse communities.
Role Overview
As the Community Growth Lead, you will own the growth of community programs end-to-end. You will design strategies to attract and activate communities, improve visibility and engagement, and develop programs that help communities thrive. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Operations teams to remove blockers, improve user experiences, and scale impact globally.
You will work with communities of all types — from professional groups and nonprofits to social impact collectives, grassroots organizations, and other interest-based networks. You’ll be responsible for ensuring programs are healthy, active, and sustainable, while continuously measuring, analyzing, and reporting on KPIs and performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities
Community Growth & Engagement
- Define growth targets, KPIs, and OKRs; manage dashboards and reporting.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of high-value communities aligned with priority verticals.
- Drive activation, retention, and long-term engagement within communities.
Cross-Functional Execution
- Partner with Product and Engineering to improve creation, discovery, and retention features.
- Work with Marketing and Community teams to design campaigns, referral programs, and educational initiatives.
- Collaborate with regional teams to tailor strategies for local community needs.
Program Development & Onboarding
- Develop playbooks, templates, and processes for rapid community setup and adoption.
- Create onboarding and certification programs to support community leaders and high-quality engagement.
- Gather feedback from users and community leaders to guide roadmap and program improvements.
Metrics & Insights
- Track and report on key metrics such as activation rate, engagement, DAU/MAU, retention, content activity, and satisfaction (e.g., NPS).
- Use insights to iterate on programs and inform growth strategies.
Qualifications
- 6 years of experience in community growth, platform growth, marketplace programs, or similar roles.
- 3–4 years managing or scaling creator, user-generated, or community-led platforms (e.g., Discord, Slack, Telegram, Facebook Groups).
- Proven experience as a DRI for growth targets and OKRs with cross-functional execution.
- Hands-on, builder/operator mindset with experience launching and scaling programs from the ground up.
- Strong analytical skills; comfortable tracking metrics, building dashboards, and reporting results.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across functions, regions, and cultures.
- Familiarity with Bitcoin, privacy-first tech, or digital community tools is a plus, but not required.
- Willingness to travel internationally as needed (up to 25% initially).
