Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking general laborers to join our team. In this role, you will assist in various construction tasks, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. As a general laborer, you will work closely with skilled tradespeople and contribute to the overall success of construction projects. This position requires travel around an hour and a half surrounding Peru, IN. You are not required to drive your own vehicle beyond the meeting point but it is optional.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of job sites by cleaning and clearing debris.
- Load and unload materials and equipment as needed.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and skilled tradespeople to complete tasks.
- Support the assembly and installation of structures, frameworks, and fixtures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations on the job site.
Skills
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor for extended periods.
- Familiarity with basic construction tools and equipment is preferred.
