What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mental Health Counselor position at Clear Path Counseling?
Clear Path Counseling is a growing mental health private practice with locations in Geneva & South Elgin, IL. We have open positions available immediately. We are looking for licensed mental health clinicians, including LSW, LPC, LCSW, LCPC & LMFT who are interested in treating children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. Preference given to clinicians willing to work with couples and families.
The ability to provide compassionate, empathetic and evidence-based approaches with clients is paramount. Since all billing and administrative tasks are handled by the practice, you will be able to put 100% of your focus and energy into your clinical work.
We offer a flexible schedule so that you can ensure a healthy work-life balance and there will be an opportunity for some sessions to be virtual. This is a W2 employee position.
Incentives:
- $45-$65 per therapy session (no shows are paid at full rate)
- $450.00 monthly bonus when 90 sessions are completed in a month
- BCBS PPO insurance is available after 90 days of employment and paid at 50%
- 401k and matching
- Stipends for CEU and training certificates (EMDR, CADC, etc...) are available
- Clinical supervision provided for provisionally licensed clinicians
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat mental health disorders.
- Facilitate sessions with individuals, groups, or families.
- Create a treatment plan based on each client's needs.
- Monitor client progress during treatment.
Qualifications:
- A master's degree in social work/professional counseling.
- Prior experience in psychotherapy (1 year preferred).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Empathy for clients.
- Confidentiality with client information.
- Licensure (LSW, LPC, LCSW, LCPC, LMFT)
