What are the responsibilities and job description for the Remote Licensed Mental Health Therapist position at Clear Mind Counseling?
We are seeking a therapist to join our team providing telehealth services! We are a group private practice providing outpatient mental health and behavioral health services to a diverse clientele located within Nevada. We have providers who work out of the office, are completely remote, and are a combination of both.

Professional Characteristics: We are seeking someone who has an interest in collaborating with other providers. While there is no supervisory expectation or requirement for a provider to join us, staffing cases and consulting together is the mindset we have and hope to increase! An interest in being a life-long learner and expanding knowledge of treatment approaches is a value we share.
Personal Characteristics: You will be a good fit at Clear Mind Counseling if you have a passion for connecting and supporting your clients, you are looking for a relaxed environment where you feel like you have a private practice without the business demands so you can focus on the clinical work, and you have good communication skills with other professionals. We do not micromanage our providers and trust you are being responsible with your sessions, time with clients, etc. as any licensed professional would!
Practice Theory: A successful candidate for this position will understand that we encourage every therapist to bring their unique personality into their sessions to genuinely connect with clients. We are a practice built on the desire to protect the client's therapeutic journey AND the provider in the journey; We support both sides of the therapeutic process through clear communication, solid ethics, and mutual respect between all parties.
Do not apply if: You are looking for a short-term contract working relationship and are not able to commit to a consistent schedule for your clients as this does not meet the vision of the practice.
Compensation: This is a 1099 contract position where reimbursement is based on billable services rendered and reimbursed by the payor source (insurance, contract, self-pay, EAP, etc). Rate split is 68% to the provider.
What we provide:
- Steady caseload of clients with diverse needs and backgrounds
- Administrative support for all client related needs (scheduling, insurance checks, processing payments, etc)
- Credentialing under our group for any panels that we are currently credentialed with
- HIPAA Compliant company email
- HIPAA Compliant electronic health record (inclusive of telehealth functions)
- Billing of all rendered services
- Payment of all rendered services (as long as documentation is complete) regardless of payer source payment/delay in payment
- $200 towards CEs annually, once with us for 6 months & maintenance of average 20 clients/week
- Reimbursement for licensure fees, once with us for 6 months & maintenance of average 20 clients/week
- Opportunities for additional training within the company with maintenance of an average of 20 clients/week
Responsibilities:
- Establish open lines of communication for individuals with mental, emotional, and behavioral concerns
- Complete individual, family, and couples therapy as pertains to the needs of the client and your scope of practice
- Implement and review treatment plans, intensity of needs determinations, validated screening measures
- Collaborate with additional treatment providers and placement agencies on an as-needed, case by case basis
- Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in mental health counseling or other related fields
- Licensed as a LCSW, MFT, or CPC in Nevada.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills for clinical documentation and correspondence with team via electronic means
- Ability to build rapport with clients and engage in quality, evidence-based clinical work

Pay: $55.00 - $70.00 per hour
