Elementary Teacher

Elementary Teacher – Classical Christian School Clear Lake Classical is seeking a loving, organized, and joyful elementary teacher for our Lower School. We are looking for a teacher who loves Christ, loves children, and desires to cultivate a classroom marked by order, attentiveness, wonder, and joy. Our teachers seek to shepherd students spiritually and academically through a classical Christian approach to education. Candidates should value strong classroom culture, clear communication, and the pursuit of truth, goodness, and beauty in all subjects. Responsibilities include: • Teaching elementary students in a structured and engaging classroom environment • Planning and teaching lessons using the school’s curriculum and instructional expectations • Cultivating student attentiveness, respect, and self-control • Communicating clearly and graciously with parents and administration • Maintaining classroom order and supporting the mission and culture of the school • Participating in school events, staff meetings, and professional development • Working collaboratively with fellow teachers and school leadership Qualifications: • A personal and growing Christian faith • Agreement with the school’s mission and statement of faith • A love for children and a desire to disciple students • Strong classroom management and organizational skills • Bachelor’s degree preferred • Teaching experience preferred, but not required for the right candidate • Desire to grow in classical Christian education We desire teachers who are humble, hardworking, teachable, and excited to help students grow both academically and spiritually.
