What are the responsibilities and job description for the Trust Assistant position at Clear Lake Bank & Trust Inc?
Clear Lake Bank & Trust Company is hiring a Trust Assistant. This full-time position will provide operational support and assist in building and maintaining strong customer relationships. Candidates must possess a high-level of personal accountability, strong attention to detail and follow-through.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Maintains customer files and records for respective trust accounts.
- Responsible for record keeping on Cheetah accounting system; opening, closing, and making additions and changes when necessary.
- Posts transactions to Cheetah accounting system adhering to principal and income accounting rules when applicable.
- Assists account administrators with required reporting and administrative documentation.
- Responsible for preparing and organizing document imaging.
- Completes period-end reconciliations.
- Maintains active, positive involvement in the community and the Bank.
- Actively nurtures relationships with existing bank customers using face-to-face communication.
Qualifications:
- Education: Associate’s degree in business or equivalent is required. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Previous Trust or investment experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills are required.
- Proficient in PC usage and standard office applications (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook); must be able to demonstrate proficiency of basic functions
