Duties
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, and common areas, following established protocols.
- Change linens, make beds, and replenish supplies such as toiletries, towels, and amenities to ensure guest comfort.
- Perform floor care duties such as vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and maintaining cleanliness in hallways and public spaces.
- Conduct routine inspections of rooms for maintenance issues or safety hazards and report findings promptly.
- Assist with deep cleaning tasks including industrial cleaning techniques when necessary to uphold hygiene standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of hotel corridors, lobbies, elevators, and other shared spaces to promote a pristine environment.
- Follow all safety procedures related to custodial work and use of cleaning equipment to ensure a safe workplace.
Requirements
- Prior experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet cleaning.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in fast-paced settings.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and report maintenance issues.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform cleaning tasks for extended periods.
