Join Evergreen Waste Management as a Door-to-Door Sales Representative and play a key role in expanding our service across local communities. This position focuses on building relationships with homeowners and small businesses, introducing them to reliable, locally operated waste collection services. As a representative of a growing, family-oriented company, you’ll engage directly with potential customers, explain our service offerings, and help bring dependable waste solutions to underserved and rural areas.
This is a paid position offering an hourly base rate plus commission per new customer signup. Representatives will use their own vehicle, with fuel expenses covered by the company.
Responsibilities
- Conduct door-to-door outreach in assigned neighborhoods to introduce Evergreen Waste Management’s residential and small business trash services.
- Clearly explain service options, pricing, and benefits, including reliability, local ownership, and customer-focused service.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate service levels (e.g., number of carts, service frequency).
- Build trust with potential customers through professional, friendly, and straightforward communication.
- Close new customer accounts and accurately document signups.
- Provide feedback from the field to help improve routing density, pricing strategy, and marketing efforts.
- Represent the company with professionalism and respect in all community interactions.
Compensation & Structure
- Hourly base pay plus commission for each new customer signup
- Fuel expenses reimbursed or covered by the company

Qualifications
- Previous sales experience is helpful but not required; strong motivation and people skills are more important
- Comfortable speaking with homeowners and small business owners in person
- Ability to communicate clearly and confidently about service offerings and pricing
- Self-motivated and able to work independently throughout the day
- Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver’s license
- Strong work ethic with a results-driven mindset
