We are seeking an Environmental Engineer to support federal facilities and environmental compliance programs. In this role, you will lead environmental investigations, support remediation efforts, and ensure regulatory compliance across a range of projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review environmental reports, permits, and documentation
- Support environmental investigations, remediation, and compliance projects
- Develop scopes of work and cost estimates for environmental projects
- Review contractor work products for quality and regulatory compliance
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and performance
- Conduct site inspections and environmental assessments
- Analyze data and perform quality control checks
- Support hazardous waste management, mitigation, and regulatory compliance
- Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and government stakeholders
- Track environmental metrics and support reporting requirements
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering or related field
- Experience supporting environmental compliance, remediation, or engineering projects
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance standards
- Ability to analyze data and prepare technical documentation
- Strong organizational and coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
Preferred
- Experience supporting federal or government facilities
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (e.g. CERCLA, RCRA, CAA, CWA, SPCC, NPDES)
- Experience with environmental data systems or GIS tools
- Experience managing or supporting multi-site projects
Work Environment
- Combination of office and fieldwork
- May require site visits, inspections, and travel across facilities
- Exposure to environmental and industrial site conditions
Security Clearance Requirement
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance (Secret / Top Secret / Public Trust)
- Employment is contingent upon successful background investigation and PIV card issuance
