Join our team as a Part Time Retail Cleaner, working early mornings to keep retail spaces spotless and welcoming! Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of retail floors, restrooms, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and use floor scrubbers to maintain their shine and safety standards. 80% OF THE JOB WILL BE SPENT ON AUTO SCRUBBER
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste responsibly throughout the store
- Clean glass surfaces, display cases, and windows to enhance visibility and aesthetics
- Conduct routine janitorial tasks such as sanitizing high-touch areas
- Use commercial cleaning equipment safely and effectively to uphold cleanliness standards
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles, preferably within retail or commercial settings
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including using auto/floor scrubbers
- Familiarity with custodial equipment such as vacuums, buffers, mops, and cleaning solutions
- Ability to work efficiently independently during early morning hours in the time allotted to complete
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality cleanliness standards
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and moving cleaning supplies throughout the shift
- Basic understanding of facilities maintenance practices related to retail environments
