Job Description
We're looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our crew. The ideal candidate has a strong operating background, isn't afraid to jump in and labor when the job calls for it, and shows up reliably every day ready to work.
Responsibilities
- Operate excavators, loaders, skid steers, dozers, and other heavy equipment on excavation and civil construction sites
- Perform general labor duties as needed, including hand digging, grading, pipe laying, and site cleanup
- Read and interpret grade stakes, plans, and site markings
- Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Follow all job site safety protocols and procedures
- Work efficiently as part of a small, tight-knit crew
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on equipment operating experience
- Willingness and ability to perform manual labor when needed
- CDL preferred, but not required
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and ability to take direction
