Temporary CCA Technology Assistant - Summer
Description:
This temporary, summer position, will provide help to assist other technology department staff with summer projects.
Education:
- Must be 16 years or older
Responsibilities:
- Assist with maintenance and housekeeping projects.
- Assist with maintenance and repair of Macintosh and Windows desktop, laptop, Chromebooks and mobile devices and associated hardware.
- Provide documentation and record keeping of assigned work and projects.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of district technology equipment.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work from ladders and man-lifts to access ceiling mounted equipment and cabling.
- Follow all procedures to ensure safe working environments.
- Work with other staff members in a team environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills/Knowledge:
- General knowledge of computers and related technologies helpful but not required.
- General knowledge of Macintosh and Windows software and operating systems helpful but not required.
- Ability to learn on-the-job and enhance skills as required to meet changing job conditions.
- Ability to work in a fluid environment that changes frequently and can be crisis driven.
- Ability to maintain professionalism when conducting business and while interacting with co-workers, faculty, staff, and students.
