Our client is expanding its advanced engineering team and is seeking an Electronics Hardware Engineer to contribute to the design and development of emerging electronic products and connected systems. This position offers an opportunity to play a key role in transforming technical concepts into fully functional hardware solutions that support next-generation applications.
Working within a multidisciplinary engineering organization, you will partner with experts across other engineering disciplines, and manufacturing to create reliable and scalable electronic platforms.
Responsibilities
- Drive hardware development activities for next-generation electronic products from initial concept through design validation.
- Engineer circuit-level solutions encompassing embedded controls, printed circuit assemblies, and power management functions.
- Create and maintain schematics, component libraries, and technical design packages.
- Execute hardware testing strategies, identify root causes of performance issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless interaction between electronics, firmware, and system-level functionality.
- Assess new technologies and industry trends to support future product capabilities and competitive positioning.
- Engage with manufacturing and supply chain partners to optimize quality, cost, and production readiness.
- Support rapid prototyping efforts and conduct design iterations based on test data and project requirements.
- Participate in technical reviews and communicate engineering concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Prepare clear and accurate documentation supporting product development, qualification, and release activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronic Systems Engineering, or another relevant technical discipline.
- At least five years of professional experience designing and supporting electronic hardware in a product development environment.
- Hands-on experience with printed circuit board development, embedded hardware platforms, and power conversion or power management circuitry.
- Solid knowledge of both analog and digital electronics, including circuit architecture, component selection, and system integration.
- Demonstrated success guiding hardware projects from initial design through testing, qualification, and manufacturing release.
- Skilled in the use of engineering tools for modeling, simulation, performance evaluation, and fault analysis.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify technical challenges and develop practical, effective solutions.
- Comfortable working in a collaborative engineering environment while independently managing technical assignments and priorities.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical information to diverse audiences.
Salary : $125,000 - $140,000
