What are the responsibilities and job description for the Executive Vice President of Operations position at Clear Comfort Water?
Lead the end-to-end operations (manufacturing, procurement, order management, and product management) for Clear Comfort Water, a growth-stage B2B cleantech company in Denver, CO, with the goal of scaling the business and earning a progression to Chief Operating Officer.
Clear Comfort Water, Inc. is a growth-stage water treatment technology company headquartered in Denver, CO. We develop and manufacture advanced oxidation systems that dramatically reduce the need for harsh chemicals like chlorine across three market segments: Industrial (cooling towers for food processing, refineries, data centers), Recreational (pools, spas, commercial aquatics), and Agricultural (livestock drinking water).
We are a B2B company with 30 employees, operating on the EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) framework. The company is in an exciting growth and scaling phase, and we are looking for an operational leader who can scale with us.
The EVP of Operations will own the end-to-end operations function, including production/manufacturing, procurement, order management, and product management. This role is responsible for ensuring Clear Comfort can reliably build, ship, and support its products at increasing scale while maintaining quality and controlling costs.
The successful candidate will serve as a key member of the Leadership Team, participating in quarterly and annual strategic planning within our EOS framework. This role offers a clear growth path to Chief Operating Officer for the right individual who demonstrates strategic leadership and delivers results.
A critical near-term responsibility is owning the product management function directly. While the company is currently in a maintenance and incremental improvement phase on its product portfolio, this leader will be responsible for product roadmap, customer requirements gathering, competitive analysis, and product lifecycle management. Over time, we expect to hire a dedicated Product Manager; until then, the EVP of Operations will fulfill this role.
