Position Summary
Clear Choice USA of Owensboro is looking for an experienced, reliable window and door installer to work as an independent contractor on an as-needed, per-job basis. Independent Contractor Relationship
This engagement is structured as an independent contractor relationship, not employment. By accepting work under this arrangement, the Contractor acknowledges and agrees that:
● The Contractor determines the means, methods, and sequence of performing the installation work, consistent with manufacturer requirements and the agreed job scope
● The Contractor is free to accept or decline any individual job offered, and may perform similar work for other companies or customers
● Scheduling is coordinated in advance so customer appointments can be booked, but the Contractor decides which available dates/jobs to accept and is not required to accept any particular date
● The Contractor is paid per unit installed (a set fee per window and per door), not an hourly or salaried wage
● The Contractor is solely responsible for their own federal and state income taxes and self-employment tax; no taxes are withheld from payments
● The Contractor is not eligible for employee benefits through this engagement, including health insurance, paid time off, unemployment insurance, or company-provided workers' compensation coverage
