HR Manager in The Greater Cleveland, Ohio Area
We are looking for an HR Manager to oversee all aspects of our human resources management and processes. He or she will be the go-to person for all employee-related issues. Duties will include managing activities such as recruitment, employee relations and retention, performance management, scheduling, payroll processing, training & development.

Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday thru Friday. (Hours can be flexible)
Responsibilities
- Manage the recruitment and selection process in its entirety
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances and other issues
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
- Develop and apply recruitment strategies specific to our industry.
- Post and manage job ads online and other media/platforms.
- Receive, review and organize job applications and resumes.
- Schedule interviews and selecting the most eligible and suitable candidates.
- Conduct background checks and verifying job references.
- Schedule drug and other medical tests, the required training and orientation for new hires.
- Assist in developing and implementing employment related policies and procedures.
- Working closely with other managers to identify staffing needs and filling them when needed.
- Help in other administrative duties as delegated by the General Manager which may include preparing work schedules, payroll processing, and planning client events and activities.
Required Skills
- At least three years of proven work experience as an HR manager or related field
- Strong leadership, problem solving and strategizing skills
- Proficiency in using computers and MS Office applications is required
- Ability to mediate, when necessary, with excellent listening skills.
- Effectively managing interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
- In-depth knowledge of US labor laws and HR best practices.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- A diploma/certificate in HR related discipline is preferred but not required.
- Experience in the Intellectual/developmental disability field is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Projected Total Compensation: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
