Overview
Clear Blue Ice is a locally owned, family-operated ice delivery company based in Cuba, Missouri, looking for a reliable and hardworking Delivery Route Driver to join our growing team. This role involves safely transporting ice products to customer locations along established routes, providing outstanding customer service, and representing our company with professionalism. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, shows up ready to go, and understands that our customers count on us every day. A valid Missouri driver's license and a strong focus on safety are required.
Duties
- Safely operate box trucks and commercial vehicles to deliver ice products along designated routes
- Load, secure, and unload cargo using pallet jacks, hand trucks, or manual lifting techniques
- Verify delivery orders before departure and ensure accurate loading
- Drive routes efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Deliver products to customers with a professional and friendly attitude
- Collect signatures or proof of delivery as required
- Maintain cleanliness and perform routine upkeep on assigned vehicles
- Assist with warehouse tasks including inventory and moving stock as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Missouri driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or route driver preferred
- Experience with box trucks, pallet jacks, and manual transmission vehicles a plus
- Ability to lift and move up to 40 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift
- Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor
- Familiarity with safety procedures related to commercial driving and warehouse operations
- Ability to navigate using GPS or maps
Pay & Schedule
- $15–$20/hr based on experience and position
- Full-time, part-time, and seasonal positions available
- Work location: In person
