Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including floors, restrooms, offices, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers.
- Handle various cleaning agents and chemicals safely following established chemical handling safety procedures.
- Conduct custodial duties like dusting, vacuuming, mopping, trash removal, and sanitation to ensure all areas meet health and safety standards.
- Use manual handling techniques for heavy lifting tasks such as moving furniture or cleaning equipment to prevent injury.
- Maintain the cleanliness of floors through buffing, polishing, and floor care techniques to enhance appearance and safety.
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Assist with basic facilities maintenance tasks as needed to support overall site upkeep.
Qualifications
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment including floor buffers, vacuums, and other janitorial tools.
- Knowledge of chemical agent handling safety procedures and proper use of cleaning chemicals.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and moving supplies or equipment.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for maintaining cleanliness standards.

- Prior experience in industrial cleaning or porter roles is advantageous.

Pay: $24.64 - $29.68 per hour
