Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and disinfecting surfaces to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Conduct detailed floor care tasks such as buffing, polishing, stripping, and waxing to maintain pristine flooring conditions.
- Manage custodial responsibilities in various settings, ensuring restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas are spotless and well-maintained.
- Execute commercial cleaning procedures for large-scale facilities using specialized equipment and techniques.
- Provide porter services needed and ensuring supplies are stocked and organized.
- Support facilities maintenance activities by reporting repairs needed for lighting, plumbing or other building systems.
- Follow safety protocols diligently while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment to ensure a secure work environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures.
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques including floor care such as buffing and polishing.
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and supplies used in large-scale facilities.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including operating cleaning machinery safely.
- Prior experience with commercial or facilities maintenance is required, particularly with floor care.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to prioritize daily tasks efficiently.
